💔 PART 2 — VANESSA THOUGHT LOSING HER MONEY WAS THE WORST THING... SHE WAS WRONG 😳

💔 PART 2 — VANESSA THOUGHT LOSING HER MONEY WAS THE WORST THING... SHE WAS WRONG 😳

Vanessa didn't sleep that night.

Not for a single minute.

Every television channel was talking about the incident at the villa.

Every social media platform carried the same headline.

"Billionaire's Pregnant Wife Nearly Drowns at Private Estate."

By sunrise, her phone had become a nightmare.

Missed calls.

Canceled contracts.

Resignation emails.

Business partners distancing themselves.

People she had known for years suddenly acted as if they had never met her.

But that wasn't what terrified her most.

The knock came at 8:17 a.m.

Three sharp knocks.

The kind that instantly makes your stomach drop.

Vanessa opened the door.

Two detectives stood outside.

Behind them was a woman carrying a folder.

Child Protective Services.

Vanessa felt her blood run cold.

"What is this?" she whispered.

One detective exchanged a glance with the other.

"We need to ask you several questions regarding a previous complaint."

"A complaint?"

The detective opened the folder.

Inside were photographs.

Medical records.

Witness statements.

Documents dating back almost four years.

Vanessa stared at them.

Her face lost all color.

Because she recognized every page.

And she thought they had been destroyed.

"That's impossible," she breathed.

The detective's expression never changed.

"Mrs. Monroe, it appears this isn't the first time someone has accused you of hurting a pregnant woman."

The room spun.

Vanessa grabbed the edge of the table to steady herself.

No.

No, no, no.

That chapter of her life was supposed to be buried forever.

Then the detective slid one final photograph across the table.

A photograph of a young woman.

Smiling.

Pregnant.

Missing.

Vanessa's hands began shaking uncontrollably.

Because she knew exactly who the woman was.

And she knew something nobody else knew.

The woman had disappeared three years ago.

But she hadn't disappeared willingly.

Meanwhile, across town, Olivia sat inside a private hospital suite.

Doctors had confirmed the baby was safe.

Alexander hadn't left her side once.

Neither had Emma.

Everything should have felt better.

Yet Olivia couldn't stop staring at the television.

At Vanessa's face.

At the breaking news.

Then another report interrupted the broadcast.

A missing-person investigation had suddenly been reopened.

Olivia frowned.

Alexander froze.

Because the woman in the photograph wasn't a stranger.

It was someone they both recognized.

Someone connected to their family.

Someone who had vanished shortly before Alexander inherited a multi-million-dollar business deal.

And for the first time since the pool incident...

Alexander began wondering whether Vanessa's attack had never been about jealousy.

Maybe she hadn't been trying to ruin Olivia.

Maybe she had been trying to stop Olivia from discovering something.

Something hidden for years.

Something worth killing for.

😳 And when detectives finally uncovered what was buried beneath an abandoned vineyard connected to Vanessa's company...

the entire state of California would be shocked.
